Fractal Images and Their Inspiration

Call me crazy, but I've become really fond of fractal imagery. I have used these images as my desktop picture on my computer for quite some time now and feel that they can really inspire me. When I'm thinking of a new design, there's something refreshing, new and exciting about fractal images that re-energizes me for coming up with that next design. I've applied this to logos and web sites alike and there really is something to it!

What are Fractals?

They can be defined as, 'a rough or fragmented geometric shape that can be split into parts, each of which is (at least approximately) a reduced-size copy of the whole', according to Wikipedia's definition of fractals. They come in many different flavors, such as 'Mandelbrot', 'Newton', 'Julia', 'Halley', 'Secant', or 'Dragon' and I'll not bore you with the various reasons why. All I do know is that they are wondrous images that also occur in nature, especially in snowflakes. Fractals as Desktop Images I'll post up 3 fractal images here to get the ball rolling, so-to-speak. If there's enough interest, I'll post up more. Feel free to download them and use them for your computer desktop image, become inspired by them as I do, or share them with friends. Most of all, leave a comment if you'd like to see more of these.

Fender Strat for Sale in Denver, CO - Awesome Deal!!!

I've got one Olympic White MIM (Made in Mexico, but has American parts) Jimmie Vaughan Signature Stratocaster for sale. That's right, this one was designed by the brother of the late, great SRV, otherwise known as Stevie Ray Vaughan!

It's got great tone and playability. I've upgraded the original pick guard from single-ply to double-ply (might be triple-ply… one black layer sandwiched in 2 white layers) and have also had it professionally set-up. I hate to get rid of this gem of a guitar, but am trying to rid of some of my multiplying guitars to make room for a new one. The soft V maple neck on this one is amazing! The pickups are Tex Mex Specials and scream with tone & bite! I've got a couple stickers on the back side that add some moo, but can easily be removed if you want.

I'll also include one sweet deluxe Fender gig bag! Screaming deal, I must say so myself!
