Robert Plant Talks About New Band of Joy Album

A display of 'Electric Power with an Acoustic Mesh' is the way Robert Plant describes his latest musical exploration. Interesting to see his take on music and his latest project here:

There's also been an official video release of his new song entitled, 'Angel Dance', which is a Los Lobos cover song. Check it out below:

Catch a live version of it here from Florida, July 2010. Thanks to 'LizaJaneAudiophile' on YouTube for posting this!

And while it's not the mighty Led Zeppelin, it's still worth watching the Band of Joy do their rendition on Led Zeppelin's 'Thank You', complete with Pedal Steel Guitar solo!

Google Street View Hits Germany with Opposition

It's been here in the United States for some time now, but now it's been mentioned that soon, this coming Novemember in fact, Google's street view will be available in Germany. People's faces, license plate numbers and other private identifying items will be blurred upon request. So far over 10,000 Objections to the Street View feature in Google have been voiced in Germany.

Google Street View Camera in Berlin, Germany

Anybody want to voice their opinion on how this street view feature could be an invasion of privacy? My first impression, as our house is represented within Google's street view, is that as long as they allow a request to be made to blur out images, then it's ok by me. For example, I didn't appreciate the fact that the inside of our garage was visible to everyone using street view for the sole purpose of possibly seeing what we have in our garage that they might like, but maybe I'm just being paranoid?
